About the role

We are partnering with a highly regarded global brokerage to recruit a Senior International Casualty Broker for its City of London office. The role focuses on expanding the brokerage’s Canadian liability portfolio while managing a broad range of international casualty business.

Key responsibilities

• Broker and place international casualty insurance contracts, with a primary emphasis on Canadian liability business.
• Develop and nurture relationships with Canadian insurers, reinsurers and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with internal underwriting and risk teams to structure competitive solutions.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive growth across the international portfolio.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions served.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a senior casualty broker with a strong network in the Canadian market.
• Deep understanding of international liability products and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Canadian liability insurance regulations and market practices.
• Experience with international casualty underwriting and placement.
