Senior Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner

About the Role

Join WSP's UK Environment business as a Senior Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner. You will become part of a highly passionate and motivated Landscape & Urban Design team, working on diverse, high-profile projects that shape the built and natural environment across the UK.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct comprehensive Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments (LVIA).
• Drive landscape design for multidisciplinary projects, including urban and mixed-use developments, across all RIBA stages, primarily within a BIM Level 2 environment.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with both public and private sector clients.
• Contribute to business growth by participating in the preparation of tenders for projects ranging from simple to highly complex.
• Manage project workflows and provide mentorship and delegation to junior team members.
• Act as a key client contact, providing expert design advice and facilitating stakeholder workshops and events.
• Engage in internal multidisciplinary working groups to drive innovation, excellence, and thought leadership within the industry.

Candidate Profile

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a recognized equivalent.
• Proven track record in producing high-quality landscape impact assessments.
• Demonstrated expertise in landscape and urban design, managing projects from initial site analysis through to detailed design.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing junior staff and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Required Skills
