Senior Manager – Private Capital Transactions (London)

About the role

EY’s FTTA team is building a world‑class private equity platform covering transactions from deal inception to exit. As a Senior Manager in Private Capital Transactions you will work on high‑profile tax due‑diligence, structuring and modelling assignments for a diverse client base across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain tax relationships with clients, delivering world‑class service.
• Support business development by managing existing client relationships and contributing to new win opportunities.
• Lead the delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a commercial, deal‑focused approach.
• Extract maximum value for EY and clients while managing tax and business risk.
• Develop junior staff through supervision, coaching and mentoring.
• Contribute to team strategy, operations and junior staff development.

Required profile

• Experienced UK tax practitioner with strong reviewing skills.
• Expertise in restructuring tax and private capital transactions.
• ACA qualification or equivalent.
• Client‑focused, commercially aware and able to communicate effectively.
• Proven ability to build internal and external networks.
