Senior National Account Manager – Booker/Bestway (12‑month FTC)

About the role

This is a remote, 12‑month fixed‑term contract for an interim Senior National Account Manager who will own the Booker and Bestway accounts for a fast‑growing confectionery challenger brand. You will be responsible for driving commercial milestones, expanding distribution and strengthening customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level strategic and commercial ownership of the Booker and Bestway accounts.
• Deliver key commercial stages such as Booker Q1 2027 category review, completion of the current Booker JBP, and closure of the 2026 Bestway JBP.
• Collaborate with internal sales, category, operations, finance, back‑office and Spain‑based teams to ensure robust, operationally deliverable customer plans.
• Build credibility with Booker and Bestway stakeholders, negotiate joint business plans and drive activation initiatives.
• Manage P&L, margin, and commercial investment to achieve growth targets.

Required profile

• Recent direct experience managing Booker accounts.
• Proven track record managing national, wholesale or major FMCG accounts.
• Strong understanding of Booker trading, customer planning, category review preparation and promotional planning.
• Demonstrated ability to build and deliver joint business plans, secure new listings and expand distribution.
• Experience with P&L ownership, margin management and delivering commercial growth.
