Senior Occupational Therapist – Band 6 (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Cygnet Health Care at Joyce Parker Hospital in Coventry as a Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 6). This part‑time position offers the chance to work within a male psychiatric intensive care unit, acute mental health ward, and high‑dependency rehabilitation unit, supporting adults with complex mental health needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver person‑centred OT assessments and interventions across three wards.
• Develop and implement individualized OT treatment programmes based on diagnosis and identified needs.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure outcome‑based care.
• Provide supervision to junior staff and lead specific projects.
• Participate in learning, development and research activities.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn new skills and work with patients with complex needs.
• Ability to work autonomously as a clinician.
• Readiness to take supervisory responsibility and lead projects.
• Commitment to regular supervision with the Head Occupational Therapist.
