About the role

The Senior Operations Manager will lead warehouse operations that serve B2B, retail and e‑commerce channels. This permanent position offers the chance to shape strategy, improve efficiency and drive growth for a respected retail organisation expanding its UK footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Review current warehouse processes, team structure and systems to identify priority projects.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Lead, mentor and manage a large warehouse team, fostering engagement and performance during periods of change.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless supply‑chain flow.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and reporting for logistics operations.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and introduce innovative solutions to support business growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse leadership, overseeing large teams serving B2B, retail and e‑commerce channels.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain processes and operational efficiency.
• Excellent leadership and change‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to scale operations while maintaining service levels and controlling costs.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
