Senior Own Brand Childrenswear Buyer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Own Brand Childrenswear Buyer to lead the development and launch of our own‑brand childrenswear collections. Working in a hybrid model, you will combine creative input with commercial acumen to deliver products that delight customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the full lifecycle of childrenswear collections from concept to market launch.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Technical and Merchandising teams to translate creative ideas into commercially viable products.
• Source and negotiate with international suppliers to secure the best cost, quality and delivery terms.
• Build balanced ranges that meet target margins and the expectations of a global customer base.
• Manage the critical path to ensure timely product delivery and successful seasonal launches.
• Partner with Ecommerce and Marketing to maximise product performance through launch campaigns.
• Support supplier onboarding, compliance and continuous improvement across the supply base.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer in own‑brand childrenswear or fashion.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance creativity and profitability.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing products and managing supplier relationships internationally.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of costing, margins and product development processes.
• Highly organised with strong planning abilities and a collaborative approach.
