Senior Personal Tax Manager

About the role

As a Senior Personal Tax Manager based in London, you will lead the delivery of personal tax services for a portfolio of professional services clients, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation and providing strategic advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Provide expert advice on tax planning and compliance matters.
• Review and oversee the preparation of tax returns by junior staff.
• Stay up‑to‑date with tax legislation and advise clients on relevant changes.
• Assist with HMRC enquiries and investigations as required.
• Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies for clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
• Support the wider tax team with technical expertise and guidance.

Required profile

• Strong experience in personal tax management within the professional services industry.
• Relevant tax qualification such as CTA or ATT.
• Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio effectively.
• Strong communication skills for client relationship building.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
