Senior Portfolio Accountant Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Accountant Lead to head a high‑performing portfolio accounting team within our residential property management business. The role is home‑based, offering flexibility while you work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 6–7 Portfolio Accountants, providing day‑to‑day guidance and performance management.
• Review service charge accounts, budgets and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support complex development projects and resolve escalated financial queries.
• Plan workloads, monitor team performance and drive continuous operational improvement.
• Collaborate with Property Managers, clients and senior stakeholders to maintain high service standards.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.

Required profile

• Strong background in service charge accounting within residential property management.
• Proven experience managing or mentoring finance teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain high standards.
