Senior Processing Technician

About the role

Our client, a respected Lloyd's broker, is seeking a Senior Processing Technician to provide post‑placement technical support for US and International Non‑Marine risks. You will lead premium and policy processing, mentor junior technicians and ensure high‑quality service across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Process premiums for Open Market, Binding Authority and Lineslips risks.
• Handle bordereaux submissions and produce LPANs, credit and debit notes.
• Enter and maintain risk data in broking and processing systems.
• Submit risks via London Market platforms such as Whitespace/PPL, Xchanging and IMR.
• Check and process Market Reform Contracts, endorsements, certificates and other documentation.
• Liaise with brokers, underwriters, clients and third‑party providers to resolve technical queries.
• Respond to Velonetic/Xchanging queries and act as the technical expert for complex risks.
• Mentor and train two junior technicians, providing guidance and support.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience in technical processing for a Lloyd's accredited broker.
• Proven experience with post‑placement duties for Open Market and Binding Authority placements.
• Strong knowledge of Lloyd's market reforms and regulatory developments.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance.
