Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

This senior position offers the chance to shape a growing procurement function within a dynamic property services and maintenance portfolio. You will have the autonomy to drive strategic improvements while working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support a team of four Procurement Managers.
• Deliver procurement projects, remove barriers and keep programmes on track.
• Provide strategic oversight of category planning and prioritise procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and public sector procurement legislation while maintaining a commercial focus.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to deliver value and influence decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement legislation, including the Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
• Commercial and strategic mindset with confidence to challenge existing ways of working.
• Proven experience leading and developing procurement professionals.
• Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a transforming organisation.
