Senior Project Manager – Engineering & Industrial Projects

About the role

Reporting to the Projects Director, you will lead the delivery of complex engineering and industrial projects across the UK. You will own projects from award through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects in line with contracted scope, programme and quality standards.
• Manage project resources, subcontractors and site teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timing plans and reports.
• Coordinate design engineers, contractors and installation activities.
• Manage project risks, scope changes and client communications.
• Oversee preparation of RAMS and final project documentation.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
• Own and manage project P&L performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering industrial engineering or manufacturing projects within a contractor environment.
• Experience across sectors such as manufacturing, process, food & beverage or similar industrial settings.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets and performance.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Flexible and willing to travel nationally.
