Senior Project Manager – Industrial & Advanced Manufacturing Construction

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international design‑and‑build contractor to deliver complex industrial, logistics, advanced manufacturing and data‑centre projects across the UK and Europe. The Senior Project Manager will own the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale construction programmes, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of complex construction projects from inception through handover.
• Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors and plant to meet programme targets.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in collaboration with the Project Director.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues proactively and keep project control systems up to date.
• Drive health, safety, quality and environmental standards on site.
• Chair regular progress meetings with internal teams, consultants, architects and external stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering large‑scale construction projects as a Senior Project Manager.
• Experience in industrial, logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or data‑centre environments.
• Relevant construction or engineering qualifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or comparable planning software.
