Senior Project Manager – M25 Infrastructure Project

About the role

Egis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of the M25 flagship project in the UK. You will be responsible for overseeing complex highway and structure schemes, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Portfolio Manager in their absence, maintaining overall project governance.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align on delivery objectives.
• Ensure compliance with the DBFO contract, clarifying roles, managing risks, and producing accurate reports.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate emerging risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
• Deliver programmes of works ranging from £20k to £4m+ on schedule and within budget.
• Directly manage project managers, assistant project managers, and early‑career staff.
• Maintain detailed records, including change management documentation.

Required profile

• Dynamic, self‑motivated professional with a strong background in large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience delivering complex highways, bridges, tunnels, and related structures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Track record of delivering projects on time, to budget, and to high health & safety standards.
