Senior Quantity Surveyor (Facades Remediation)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on multiple façade remediation and cladding replacement projects across London and nationwide. You will own the full project life‑cycle, from pre‑construction budgeting to final account, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors and take commercial responsibility for several cladding remediation schemes.
• Control costs, drive procurement and oversee subcontractor packages.
• Administer change control, produce commercial reports and support value‑engineering initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate risks on technically complex, occupied‑building projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and specialist supply chains to meet project milestones.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in cladding remediation, façade replacement or fire‑safety works.
• Strong knowledge of external wall systems, remediation risks and compliance‑led construction.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractor packages and complex change control.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on live, occupied buildings and adopting a proactive, collaborative approach.
