Senior Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out & Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier‑1 contractor’s Fit‑Out division based in Glasgow. The role involves commercial leadership across a portfolio of framework‑driven fit‑out and refurbishment projects for major corporate clients, ensuring profitability and high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Full commercial management of fit‑out and refurbishment projects from pre‑construction to final account.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost plans.
• Procure subcontractors and handle commercial administration.
• Manage variations, valuations and change‑control processes.
• Negotiate and prepare final accounts.
• Produce commercial reports and oversee risk management.
• Support operational teams to maximise project profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with framework clients and supply‑chain partners.
• Mentor junior commercial staff as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Background in fit‑out, refurbishment or interior commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
