About the role
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in groundworks and civils to join a growing main contractor. The role offers autonomy, a competitive salary, car allowance and a clear path towards a Commercial Manager position.
Key responsibilities
- Take commercial responsibility for groundworks, civils and commercial construction projects from procurement to final accounts.
- Oversee cost reporting, valuations and the preparation of final accounts.
- Manage subcontractor packages and maintain strong client and site relationships.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.
Required profile
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor with experience in groundworks, civils or main contracting.
- Desire to progress into a Commercial Manager role.
- Full UK driving licence.

- Salary £70,000‑£75,000 per year plus car allowance.
- Hybrid working – office based in Fleet four days a week with one day remote.
