Senior Recruitment Consultant – Finance (Temp)

About the role

Hays is looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead its Finance temporary desk. You will own a high‑value interim finance portfolio, working with senior finance professionals across the M4 corridor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a day‑book of temporary finance assignments, including directors, controllers and analysts.
• Build strong relationships with clients and candidates, delivering consultative recruitment solutions.
• Drive business growth by sourcing new opportunities and expanding the desk’s market presence.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape desk strategy and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a recruitment consultant, preferably in temporary or contract recruitment.
• Background in finance or professional services recruitment is essential.
• Strong business development and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to operate at a senior, consultative level with confidence.
