Senior Recruitment Consultant – Primary Education

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead our Primary Education desk in Leeds. You will manage a high‑performing portfolio of primary schools, academies and multi‑academy trusts, driving revenue and expanding our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow an established Primary Education recruitment desk.
• Build and nurture relationships with primary schools, academies and multi‑academy trusts.
• Win new business and expand existing client partnerships.
• Source, attract and place high‑quality teaching and support staff.
• Mentor junior consultants and share best practices.
• Identify market opportunities and drive regional business growth.
• Maintain compliance with safeguarding and education recruitment standards.

Required profile

• Proven success in education recruitment, preferably primary education.
• Strong track record of billing and business development.
• Consultative, solutions‑focused approach to recruitment.
• Ability to act as a senior figure within the team and support colleagues.
• Commercial awareness and results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
