Senior Regional HR Business Partner (Maternity Cover) - UK

About the role

Prosper Global is recruiting a Senior Regional Human Resources Business Partner to cover maternity leave, for a minimum of six months and up to twelve months, starting early November. The role is deputy to the Regional HR Director and partner to people managers and team members, covering Prosper Global (UK) and Prosper Global (NL) across the UK and European locations. It is a full-time, fixed-term position based in London or Edinburgh with a flexible hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy and planning: partner with the Regional HR Director on strategic people priorities, lead people initiatives with People team Centres of Excellence, run All Voices surveys and action plans, and set goals, targets, plans and KPIs for the regional People Team.
• Human resources advisory: drive HR initiatives and solve people management issues, lead and manage employee relations and investigate complaints raised through the Integrity Hotline, review performance improvement plans, advise on restructuring, transfers, hiring and succession planning, and maintain knowledge of local labour laws.
• People operations: oversee administrative tasks, approve offer letters and new hire paperwork, respond to HR internal audit recommendations, and escalate issues as needed.
• Team development: keep abreast of global HR trends, especially in international humanitarian aid, and develop junior team members.

The salary range in the UK is £53,360, with hiring commensurate on professional experience. Applications close on 2 October.
