Senior Sales Negotiator & Valuer – Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator, Valuer and Assistant Manager to join a well‑established independent estate agency in Hove. The role offers autonomy, strong earning potential and clear pathways for career progression within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market appraisals and win new property instructions.
• Generate business through proactive canvassing and networking.
• Manage the full sales process from instruction to completion.
• Negotiate offers to achieve optimal outcomes for vendors and buyers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct property viewings when required.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Assist with day‑to‑day branch operations and deputise for management as needed.
• Meet and exceed individual and branch performance targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in estate agency sales (essential).
• Proven track record of successful valuations and winning instructions.
• Highly motivated, target‑driven and commercially aware.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and confident demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good understanding of the local property market.
