Senior Site Manager – Refurbishment (Midlands)

About the role

MCR Property Group is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of refurbishment and transformation projects across the Midlands. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from detailed planning through to handover, ensuring quality, safety and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of construction professionals, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage subcontractor packages and oversee health‑and‑safety performance on site.
• Control design information from RIBA Stage 3 to Stage 6 and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor costs, identify efficiencies, manage risks and keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and report directly to the Construction Director.
• Oversee procurement, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.

Required profile

• SMSTS certification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, preferably on residential high‑rise or large‑scale refurbishment projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and interpersonal skills.
