Senior Software Engineer (Go, Microservices)

About the role

DailyPay is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a high‑impact team focused on building scalable backend services. You will work on Go microservices, improve data movement across the platform, and automate operations for future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Go‑based backend services and APIs.
• Drive the transition to microservices by creating clean APIs and event‑driven architectures.
• Optimize database performance and data structures for high‑traffic, real‑time applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
• Identify and implement automation to simplify deployment and service access.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years with strongly‑typed languages such as Go, Java, or C#.
• Proven experience designing and delivering microservices in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to write maintainable, high‑quality code.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
