Senior Technical Program Manager

About the role

AVEVA’s Chief Technologist Organization is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the definition and tracking of emerging‑technology initiatives. You will partner with technical leaders to align programs with corporate strategy, ensure clear objectives, and deliver measurable milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a repeatable approach for technical program planning across the CT organization.
• Align technical leaders’ plans with broader strategy, flagging gaps or misalignments.
• Translate cross‑functional requirements into tangible programs that support AVEVA’s strategic goals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, dashboards, and status reports for leadership visibility.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and scaling issues early and raise them proactively.
• Establish regular review, decision, and prioritisation cadences across initiatives.
• Ensure programs comply with privacy, security, and responsible‑technology guidelines.
• Build strong cross‑team relationships to manage dependencies and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Provide operational support for the AI Capabilities Operating Committee (AICO).

Required profile

• 12+ years of technical program management experience, including 5+ years with emerging‑technology projects.
• Strong technical background enabling rapid understanding of AI, IoT, XR/VR, and related domains.
• Proven ability to turn informal technical work into structured program plans.
• Experience aligning work to organisational strategy in regulated industries such as industrial, IoT, life sciences, manufacturing, or energy.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related field; PhD preferred.
