About the role

As a Senior Treaty Reinsurance Broker you will manage an established portfolio of treaty reinsurance accounts, primarily marine, while also exploring non‑marine opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of excess‑of‑loss and proportional treaty placements.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong client and underwriter relationships.
• Prepare and present renewal and new‑business submissions.
• Liaise with technical teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth placement processes.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA standards and internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in reinsurance broking or a client‑facing reinsurance role within the London market.
• Strong understanding of treaty and facultative placements across marine and non‑marine lines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Familiarity with PPL/Whitespace platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
