Senior US Account Handler / Technician – Property Insurance

About the role

Join an independent Lloyd's broker in the City of London as a Senior US Account Handler/Technician within the International Property team. You will manage relationships with US open‑market clients, coordinate risk placements and support the end‑to‑end insurance process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain active client relationships across the US property market.
• Coordinate placement of risks, preparing underwriting submissions, market reform contracts, wordings and endorsements.
• Provide front‑end and back‑end broker support, including technical duties for a small team of producing brokers.
• Maintain documentation throughout the risk life‑cycle and ensure accurate record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Broker Technician or Account Handler in US or International Property insurance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous planning abilities.
• Strong persuasive influencing skills and proactive problem‑anticipation.

• Excellent IT and organisational capabilities.
