SEO Specialist – Fixed‑term (12 months)

About the role

The SEO Specialist will drive organic traffic and improve visibility for Disney Store’s six e‑commerce sites. Working from our Hammersmith office four days a week (with one remote day), you will partner with the Senior Marketing Manager and external agencies to embed SEO best practices across content, product and site development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day SEO operations, covering technical, on‑page and content optimisation.
• Develop and execute long‑term SEO strategies in line with Disney’s brand and business goals.
• Manage metadata, internal linking, schema markup and URL‑structure updates.
• Coordinate with SEO agencies, Site Merchandising, Product Development and Brand Marketing teams.
• Analyse organic traffic, keyword rankings and conversion performance; present monthly reports to marketing leadership.
• Support technical projects such as site migrations and page‑speed improvements.
• Monitor AI‑driven search trends and collaborate with Paid Media on a unified ‘One Search’ strategy.

Required skills

• Technical SEO expertise (site architecture, page‑speed optimisation, structured data).
• Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics.
• Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
