Service Technician – Park Place at 92nd

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the Park Place at 92nd property. You will ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑initiated work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory by tracking material usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep: trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using tools and supplies efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical, technical and mechanical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
• Willingness to follow established procedures, safety guidelines and code requirements.

Required skills

• Use of pressure‑washing equipment.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools.
