Setter Maintainer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Setter Maintainer to join our expanding Engineering Department within a leading UK medical manufacturing company. Working on a rotating shift pattern, you will support a team of engineers and maintain production equipment to ensure minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fault finding and machine setting on automated production equipment.
• Carry out machine cleaning, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and installations.
• Provide mechanical support during breakdowns and assist with quick changeovers.
• Maintain machine uptime while adhering to Health & Safety regulations and best practice.

Required profile

• Experience in an automated production environment.
• Proven machine‑setting experience and strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and work in a controlled environment.
• Capability to manage downtime, prioritize tasks and drive continuous improvement.
