Signalling Trainer – Rail Training

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Signalling Trainer to deliver rail signalling training to apprentices and existing rail professionals across the UK. You will support both initial training programmes and upskilling initiatives, combining classroom theory with practical, hands‑on sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver signalling training to apprentices and rail staff.
• Support initial training and continuous upskilling programmes.
• Conduct a mix of classroom and practical‑based sessions.
• Travel to client sites nationwide as required.
• Guide learners through training, assessments and progression pathways.

Required profile

• Qualified within rail signalling (essential).
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, DET or equivalent).
• Assessor qualification desirable (TAQA, A1 or equivalent).
• Experience delivering training or working in an instructional capacity.
• Comfortable delivering to groups and representing the provider on client sites.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
