Site Supervisor – Energy Efficiency Projects

About the role

The Green Funding Solutions team is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee the delivery of energy‑efficiency measures across England. Reporting to the Contractor Manager, you will manage contractors on‑site, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain high‑quality standards for green‑funded programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Construction Phase Plans, including risk assessments, method statements, waste management and COSHH assessments for each scheme.
• Conduct pre‑install inductions, on‑site safety inspections, and post‑install quality checks, communicating findings to contractors and line management.
• Plan site visits, verify safe access arrangements such as scaffolding, and inspect project records throughout all stages.
• Ensure contractual processes, KPIs and paperwork are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Monitor compliance with standards such as PAS2030:2019, PAS2035, Trustmark, MCS and E.ON best‑practice guidelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, resolving issues that could impact delivery.

Required profile

• Practical, “site‑level” knowledge of external solid wall insulation, air‑source heat pumps or solar photovoltaic installations.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and verify correct implementation.
• Proven experience influencing internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
• Enthusiastic, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to both provide and request support.
