Site Supervisor – EV Infrastructure (Dorset)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead the delivery of on‑street electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Dorset and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will spend most of your time on‑site, overseeing engineers and subcontractors to ensure safe, high‑quality installations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise engineers and subcontractors carrying out on‑street EV infrastructure works.
• Ensure all work complies with health‑and‑safety procedures and industry standards.
• Monitor installation quality and verify that works meet specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify issues and report risks.
• Lead daily site briefings and maintain a visible presence throughout delivery.
• Provide guidance to site teams, manage multiple live sites and maintain accurate records using company systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising operational teams on highways, utilities, civils or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of health‑and‑safety on live construction or public highway sites.
• Experience managing contractors or field‑based engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS or Triple STS site‑supervision qualification.
