Site Supervisor

About the role

Harmony is seeking a proactive Site Supervisor to lead the delivery of building fabric projects across the South West. You will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities meet Harmony’s high standards for safety, quality, and compliance while managing teams and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all works comply with Harmony and BM TRADA standards, performing timely site checks and accurate data entry.
• Oversee site set‑up, stock management, delivery of preliminaries, pre‑condition surveys and post‑inspections to achieve final sign‑off.
• Identify and flag variation opportunities immediately.
• Resolve day‑to‑day issues, boost team morale, manage conflicts and allocate resources effectively.
• Maximise productivity and utilisation of colleagues and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular quality control spot checks, ensuring works are certifiable and meet client expectations.
• Attend pre‑start meetings, maintain a tidy site that reflects Harmony’s brand, and provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and client.
• Implement Harmony’s health and safety policy, induct new trades, complete H&S paperwork, deliver toolbox talks and maintain a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and perseverance.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
• Proactive, confident, tenacious, resilient and flexible.
• Willingness to travel across sites and work flexibly.
• Full UK driving licence.
