Software Developer (Cloud & Desktop Applications)

About the role

We are building a Windows‑based desktop application backed by a cloud synchronisation layer, bringing together data from a range of instruments into a single scalable platform. You will lead the development of this desktop and cloud‑connected solution, working with a high degree of autonomy and close collaboration with sales, marketing and R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a Windows desktop application using C#.NET and WPF.
• Build and integrate REST APIs for cloud synchronisation with ASP.NET Core.
• Implement secure authentication, role‑based access control and user management.
• Develop cloud infrastructure for data sync, permissions and storage.
• Handle measurement data sets (time history, octave band, audio) and design local storage solutions (SQL Server, SQLite).
• Contribute to system architecture, technical decisions and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate requirements into functional features.
• Support ongoing UI/UX improvements to keep the system modern and intuitive.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to take a product from early stages through to delivery.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently and owning projects.
