Software Engineer – Fixed Income – Quant Hedge Fund

About the role

Paragon Alpha is partnering with a leading quantitative hedge fund to expand its Risk team. The Software Engineer will help scale the firm’s risk infrastructure by building and enhancing production‑grade risk analytics tools, data pipelines, and reporting systems that serve both trading and risk functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain risk analytics applications used across multiple trading desks.
• Build robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and store market and position data.
• Create automated reporting solutions for real‑time risk monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with traders, researchers, and risk professionals to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of risk infrastructure on cloud platforms.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience delivering production‑grade systems.
• Familiarity with financial markets or risk concepts is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative hedge‑fund environment.
