Solutions Engineer – DACH (German‑English SaaS)

About the role

As a Solutions Engineer at Ashby you will be the technical face of our sales motion for DACH customers. Working hand‑in‑hand with German‑fluent Account Executives, you will demonstrate how our talent acquisition platform meets the unique hiring challenges of each prospect.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and guide customers through structured product trials.
• Coordinate comprehensive RFP responses and ensure all technical requirements are addressed.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to progress deals toward commercial closure.
• Partner with the product team to translate customer feedback into product enhancements.
• Maintain deep product expertise and stay informed about competitors and market trends.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and German, with proven sales experience across multiple EMEA regions.
• Background as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant handling complex, multi‑stakeholder SaaS sales cycles.
• Experience working with HR or Talent Acquisition teams and a strong empathy for their day‑to‑day challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to become a subject‑matter expert and communicate complex concepts simply.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys building unique solutions.
