Spanish Speaking Business Development Manager (FMCG)

About the role

A leading international food manufacturer serving retailers, distributors and foodservice partners in international markets is looking for a Spanish-speaking Business Development Manager based in London. The role drives sales growth across Southern Europe by managing distributors and developing retail and foodservice channels, with hybrid working two days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales and distribution across mainstream retail, independent retailers and foodservice channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers and other external stakeholders
• Plan, execute and evaluate trade promotions and commercial activities
• Monitor pricing, competitors, market trends and sales performance to support business planning
• Coordinate inventory and supply planning with distributors to ensure continuous product availability
• Analyse market and sales data and provide timely reports to management
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver business projects

Required profile

• Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) is essential; fluent Italian is an advantage
• Experience in FMCG sales or business development
• Exposure to distributor management and supply chain is desirable
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for food and the food industry
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required
• Valid UK/EU driver's licence and right to work in the UK

What we offer

• Salary of up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits
