About the role
We are seeking a passionate Special Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a unique secondary school in Kent. The role is full‑time and temporary, offering the chance to make a real difference for students with diverse academic, emotional and sensory needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver tailored, inclusive lessons that build confidence and achievement.
- Create structured, nurturing environments with clear routines.
- Collaborate closely with staff, families and support specialists.
- Support pupils with EHCPs, SEMH, neurodiversity, cognition and learning needs.
- Bring creativity, compassion and high expectations to every session.
Required profile
- Warm, confident teacher who quickly builds trust.
- Strong SEN knowledge with a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
- Ability to adapt learning for academic, emotional, sensory or other specialised needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
