Specialist II, Operations Oversight – Transfer Agency

About the role

BNY is looking for a Specialist II to join its UK Transfer Agency team in Manchester. The role focuses on overseeing operational processing to ensure client service standards are met or exceeded while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee work in operational processing centres, covering transaction processing, records maintenance, payments, reconciliations and other Transfer Agency activities.
• Investigate and resolve day‑to‑day operational queries, incidents and issues; analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain and review relevant procedures, supporting the operations manager with workflow management, training and team development.
• Participate in periodic reviews and audits with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as CASS, COLL, COBS, DISP, GDPR and Consumer Duty.

Required profile

• Combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates ability to perform the responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience in a financial‑services operational area or transaction processing/client reporting is preferred.
• Willingness to develop skills in AI or digital tools is an advantage.
