Specialist Service Technician – Hygiene Services

About the role

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Specialist Service Technician to join its Thetford branch, covering South East England. The role involves delivering a wide range of hygiene and specialised cleaning services to commercial and public sector clients, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bio‑hazard, flood‑water damage, infection‑control and sharps‑removal cleaning.
• Clean police and prison cells, trauma and crime scenes, factories, high‑level and silo environments.
• Work reactively in a fast‑paced environment, responding to on‑call rotas (typically twice a quarter).
• Provide expert advice to customers and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and able to work flexible patterns.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.
