About the role
We are partnering with a growing specialty reinsurance platform to recruit a Specialty Treaty Underwriter for its London team. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio covering Marine, Energy, Terrorism, Aviation and Crop classes, and a range of treaty structures such as XoL, Quota Share and Retrocession.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite and develop a profitable specialty treaty portfolio across multiple classes.
- Analyse and price treaty opportunities, ensuring accurate risk assessment.
- Maintain and grow relationships with brokers and other market partners.
- Contribute to the overall portfolio strategy and growth initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in specialty treaty underwriting, preferably within Marine or Aviation.
- Strong analytical and pricing capabilities.
- Ability to manage broker relationships and work collaboratively with a team.
- Willingness to work on a broad range of treaty products.
