Specification Sales Manager – Laminate Surfaces (2 positions)

About the role

We are seeking two Specification Sales Managers to drive sales of laminate and wood‑based surface materials across London. You will generate specifications from architects, interior designers, fabricators and contractors for a range of projects including schools, hospitals, retail and commercial offices.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell our manufactured range of surface materials – laminate, bonded panels and related products.
• Develop specifications through relationships with architects, interior designers, end‑users and contractors.
• Collaborate closely with field sales and business development teams to progress opportunities.
• Manage orders valued between £1,000 and £150,000, ensuring smooth hand‑over to distribution channels.
• Target a portfolio of projects such as schools, hospitals, high‑street stores and sports centres.

Required profile

• Proven specification sales experience within the construction industry.
• Existing contacts with architects and interior designers, or experience in showroom sales to specifiers.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems and adapt quickly.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability.

• Salary £50,000‑£60,000 plus a 15‑50% target bonus.
