Staff Nurse – District Nursing (North Ayrshire)

About the role
This permanent position is for a qualified Staff Nurse working within the North Ayrshire District Nursing team at Bourtreehill Health Centre. You will deliver community‑based nursing care, supporting a diverse client base across the district.
Key responsibilities
- Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate nursing programmes for community clients.
- Manage a caseload independently, including supervision and redeployment of staff when the Charge Nurse is absent.
- Provide safe, caring and respectful nursing care in a variety of community settings.
Required profile
- Professional nursing qualification (registered nurse) – essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as a lone worker and take initiative.
- Commitment to personal development and willingness to undertake further training.
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
