About the role
The Staff Nurse will assess, implement and evaluate care plans for individual service users, acting as a key worker to meet patient needs. You will support the multidisciplinary team, maintain high standards of care, and ensure effective communication in line with NMC guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, develop, implement, evaluate and record service‑user centred care plans.
- Act as a key worker, liaising with professionals, agencies and the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable clinical environment, adhering to infection control and PEAT requirements.
- Report any circumstances affecting care delivery to the nurse in charge.
- Participate in 24‑hour crisis assessments and coordinate with other services as needed.
- Contribute to service development and quality outcome evaluation.
Required profile
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to adhering to Trust policies, infection control and risk management.
