Store Supervisor

About the role

Footasylum is seeking an energetic Store Supervisor for its Darlington store. You will lead a team of Sales Assistants, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise in‑store sales and achieve profitability targets.
• Maintain stock levels, merchandising standards and profit protection.
• Oversee health and safety, property upkeep and compliance with company policies.
• Recruit, train and develop team members, ensuring consistent and fair treatment.
• Control day‑to‑day expenses and manage P&L responsibilities.

Required profile

• Passion for fashion retail and the Footasylum ethos of "Defy Ordinary".
• Experience leading a retail team, preferably in fashion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Experience in retail sales and stock control.
• Team motivation and performance coaching.
