Stores Coordinator – Engineering Support

About the role

We are looking for a Stores Coordinator to support the engineering team by ensuring that field‑based engineers have the right equipment and parts ready for each job. The role is hands‑on, based in a busy warehouse environment and directly contributes to the smooth running of daily service and installation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review upcoming jobs and prepare required equipment using internal systems.
• Assemble and pre‑stage tools, spares and consumables for installations and service visits.
• Maintain a well‑organised stockroom with clearly labelled locations.
• Receive, check and process deliveries, updating stock records and highlighting replenishment needs.
• Assist with unloading, sorting and disposal of returned or scrap equipment.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, safe and compliant with waste‑recycling procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
• Practical, “get stuck in” attitude with strong organisational skills.
• Reliable, friendly and able to work physically active tasks.
• Good communication and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work ahead of schedule.
