Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organised, proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join a growing business in Portsmouth. You will be the heartbeat of the supply chain, ensuring stock arrives on time, identifying potential shortages early, and keeping the purchasing process running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing cycle from order through to delivery.
• Raise purchase orders and maintain the ERP system.
• Monitor stock levels and keep key product lines on track.
• Identify potential supply issues before they impact customers.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure deliveries remain on schedule.
• Resolve supply issues quickly and escalate where appropriate.
• Support colleagues across the team during busy periods.
• Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal departments.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, buying, supply chain or stock control.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical and analytical ability.
• Proactive mindset with confidence to spot and solve issues early.
