Supply Chain Planner (Data & Analytics Focused)

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner with a strong focus on data and analytics to support a global leader in power solutions. Based in Leeds and working on a fixed‑term contract until February 2027, the role combines on‑site collaboration (minimum three days a week) with analytical responsibilities to optimise daily supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and maintain daily supply‑chain activities across key functional areas.
• Analyse planning data and KPIs to spot trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and optimise planning system parameters to enhance performance.
• Execute operational planning tasks within the assigned area each day.
• Identify potential supply‑chain risks and support mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver short‑term operational improvements.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and participate in process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability with experience processing and interpreting data.
• Good understanding of supply‑chain principles, preferably gained in manufacturing or logistics.
• Degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent experience in supply‑chain or a related analytical discipline.
• Experience in supplier performance management is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships.
