About the role
Primary schools across Dover are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable supply teachers to provide short‑term classroom cover for Key Stages 1 and 2. The role is flexible, allowing you to fit teaching assignments around your personal and professional commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver well‑prepared lesson plans and maintain clear expectations for cover work.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Build quick rapport with pupils and staff to ensure seamless transitions.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit a variety of year groups and primary settings.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – candidates without QTS are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience teaching in primary schools (KS1 and/or KS2).
- Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
