Sustainability Consultant – BREEAM (Hybrid, Bristol)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sustainability Consultant to join our growing environmental consultancy team in Bristol. You will work on a varied portfolio of commercial, education, public sector, residential and master‑planning projects, delivering BREEAM and other sustainability assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BREEAM, WELL, NABERS and Ska assessments from pre‑assessment through to certification.
• Prepare sustainability statements, planning reports and whole‑life carbon assessments.
• Manage and review project evidence for sustainability certifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to embed sustainability into design.
• Produce detailed technical reports and client‑facing documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislation, policy changes and best practice in sustainability.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in sustainability consulting or a related built‑environment role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high‑quality assessments.
• Strong communication skills for client meetings, workshops and design team discussions.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and accreditation.
